Uncharted Collection cuts multiplayer from 2&3

so... that was a major reason I was going to be willing to buy it again... multiplayer was really f-ing fun, essentially for 2 where it was a like a secondary story line
I guess I'll be sticking to my old versions on the PS3 until it drops down to $15 or so
(if this was already posted my bad. this is just a huge bummer for me)

multiplayer is kind of a must for me with this game b/c aside from some extremely mild treasure hunting there isnt much of a reason to replay the main game once you go through the story.
there arent branching paths, there are no time attacks, no heavy exploration, no nothing to keep you playing.

Every single game does not have to have multi-player.
Sometimes it is better to concentrate on what you are best at and what Naughty Dog is best at is story telling.

its not like this is some new IP that they decided against putting it in.

I would love to have multiplayer, but you have to think that not very many people will be playing it to make it worth it.
As fun and novel as the multiplayer for 2 and 3 were it didn't have a huge draw and never really "caught on" A remake will only be worse.

I can't think of one time where it backfired to put together a collection with multiplayer from different games...

As someone who never played these games in the past and plans on picking this up, I would have liked for them to include multiplayer, but I can understand the reasoning behind it.
