Thank God. I've been wanting to play these ever since I got my PS4 but held off on the PSNow rentals of the older ones because I was praying for a remaster.

I didn't find it that big of a difference really.
I am interested in playing UC2 again since I thought it was overrated but everyone keeps saying it was amazing.

It was. 2 had a better story but 3 had better areas like desert and ship

I'll never forget the amazement of seeing Drake go into water and his pants stay wet for a while then dry off. Best graphics I had ever seen

2 wasn't overrated, 3 was for sure. Pretty big consensus that 2 is the best in the series.

I beat Tomb Raider. Was good, def felt like a cheaper UC nowhere near any 3.

Not at all. I really enjoyed UC1, but was glad when it was over. 2 was enjoyable to a point, and then there was just one gun fight too many and I was done. Never touched 3.

An argument made up by gardoki. Don't start.
I really wanted to like UC, and it was probably the best looking game I had ever seen. But I wanted more exploration, but they bogged it down with gun fights. Probably why I gravitate to TR more.

TR just had no real story, was terrible. I almost quit half way through from boredom before it finally picked up. I was ready for it to end.
But then again, TR was pretty average critically, and I tend to be more on page with critics in terms of liking higher rated games more than lower rated ones to the tune that if a game is below a 75 or so, I won't play it knowing how I play similar to critics.
Any game that the story takes a backseat to anything else, isn't something for me. Big open world games being the main culprit. I'll never finish Witcher 3 because of it and never finished FC4.

The gun play/combat were quite a bit better in TR, no doubt, and it was a very underrated game.

TR just seemed really "fresh" when it came out.
UC3 was not a great game IMO and the series was getting stale. With that said UC1 and 2 were probably some of my favorite single player experiences.

The whole "why can't people get off of this island" story was pretty gripping.
