Much more difficult to quickly master than last year.
Putting is a beast. Chipping is impossible. Approach and driving take some practice.
The club feature is pimp tho. Being able to compare statistics and have leaderboards and such is nice.

Nah. Last year we tried to let the ones that joined up (who just started and didn't have their character built up yet) play with one of the regulars to help even it out.

The mechanics from 12 to 13 have drastically changed. There's 4 of us online right now struggling with the differences.
All those about to start. When you are creating your golfer, ensure you import your previous player. The XP you pull over definitely helps in the attribute department.

So the last TW I had was like 09, and needless to say I had some catching up to do. This one is WAY different. Created my character and then proceeded to wait 45 minutes for my "GAME FACE" to generate. Xbox locked up, EPIC FAIL. Restarted and said, screw it I just want to play a round.
1st round at Augusta National. Fail, +7.
2nd round at Augusta National, getting the hang of it. -3
3rd round at some course in Dubai, -15, oh yeah.
Figuring out the "ask Caddy" function was the biggest helper I figured out. If you are playing on PRO level and it allows you to see the putter lines and all, the ask caddy function will tell you exactly where to putt the ball. REALLY helps on putting
Chipping is hard. I have to hit it about 50% as hard as i think I do or else I bomb it over the hole.
Overall I like it so far. Except my Xbox keeps locking up. I dont know if this games makes the Xbox runs hot or what, but I was 13 holes into my first amateur career match and winning handily and it locked up. Lost the whole game.
