So, I posted awhile back about getting into a game. Well I listened to what you guys said and got Destiny. Got pretty much the basics down, still confused on some things.

Can I sell old gear? If so, where?
Where do I join with people to play?
How do I play different game modes?

Maybe a good overview of the game and some helpful tips will benefit me.

No, you can break them down into armor/weapon parts.

Start button over to roster and you can join/create a fire team with friends.

Crucible and Vanguard strikes are available from orbit.
Crucible is pvp, strikes are PvE where you have a better chance for Legendaries and Exotics.

It's a great game and I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself! It does take a bit to be able to do all the endgame content though. Just don't give up! I've noticed that karma is real in this game.

IE, i was in the heroic strike playlist and we got the undying mind (worst strike right now) and one guy immediately quit. I was about to do the same but the other rando starting hitting me so I just said screw it and played. We ended it up beating it without wiping somehow and both got exotic drops at the end. It was incredible, even though it turned into gauntlets I already had.
