I'm not sure if it balances the passives as well. My rifle allows for the radar to stay active when ADS, and that is functional in the crucible. I think the other passives are too, but overall damage output is the same.

My understanding is that the crucible simply normalizes the Attack numbers on weapons and the Defense number on your character sheet. Everything else, including armor/weapon passives, is left unmodified.
What it comes down to, then, is the little stat bars each weapon has for stuff like stability/ROF/Impact. For instance, the higher the impact, the more damage a gun does per shot. Impact kind of gives you an idea of a gun's bullet damage relative to the class of gun it belongs to.

Green chest or killing mobs with one of the glimmer consumables active. That's what I do

How do you get an exotic bounty? I am clearing all the queens bounty's each morning then doing regulars but nothing special ever pops.

^^^^ This is what I've read. Turning in multiples increases the chance. I think I'll just hold on to mine until I have a bunch.

I have bad juju right now and it's kind of underpowered until you get the second passive. It's got a tiny clip (13) that handicaps it but the second passive gives you an instant reload and more damage everytime you get a kill.

I have the devil hand cannon and hardly use it. 3 hit kill in crux. Miss once you're fricked.
