I quite love Nier as well. Can't wait to keep playing it and starting Persona 5. That has gotten even better feedback than I ever expected.

Same here with Yakuza. Most fun game I've played this year. Can't wait for Yakuza 1 remake this summer...then Yakuza 6 early 2018. Amazing story and oh so Japanese.

I am kinda in this camp. But I think it was because i got a switch and Zelda BoTW a week after it came out and I was about halfway into Horizon loving it, and then since I've been playing Zelda I tried going back to Horizon to finish it and it seems more like a chore now.
I should have finished it before firing up the switch but I couldnt contain myself.

I havent played P5 yet (i will) but I think it's going to be hard to top Zelda BoTW. It's in the GOAT contention and that's not an exaggeration.

BoTW is great but the story in general didn't do it for me plus the dungeons IMO are the worst out of the 3D era and that's what I come for, but then again I got tired of Skyrim pretty fast and I think BoTW takes a lot of cues from that game. Zelda will win with the critics but I'm preferring P5 and Yakuza 0 more, great game no doubt but I think most overlooked some of it's shortcomings.

Plus I'm interested in Detriot Become Human, Injustice 2 and Gravity Rush 2. That backlog, though Xbox also has Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2. If those turn out to be good, I'll snag them on PC.
Plus, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Scorpio system releases. 2017 is bringing it. Best year I've had as a gamer since 1997/8 when I got back into gaming.

Based on my anecdotes and aggregate review scores for both. Mass Effect is at a 70 and Tales of Berseria is a 80. Pretty large gap.

This game actually sucks. Wayyyyy overrated. Can we at least match the lips to the dialogue??????????????
