For my son. He's 5 and plays wiiU that my buddy loaned us. He absolutely loves Mario and Smash Bros.

Is it a good idea to buy refurbished, or even used? Or should I definitely buy new? It's been a while since I bought any system.

Also, any recommendations on games would be appreciated. I bought a marvel heroes game and angry birds Star Wars at walmart for a total of $15 yesterday. Looking for Mario/sonic/ninja turtles type stuff.

Nintendo has almost a monopoly in the mobile console market (not phones) and has so many more games on it than the home consoles do for Nintendo.

Best games include:

- Smash
- LoZ: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask
- Fire Emblem Awakening
- Super Mario Bros.
- Pokemon Games (Alpha Sapphire Omega Ruby)
- Kid Icarus: Uprising

Those are just some games though. Probably the highlights. Fire Emblem is a bit of a stretch for a person that young. A lot of Nintendo fans call that the "Waifu Simulator" as it does have a lot of suggestive themes and hints that he may or may not pick up on. But otherwise, it is a really good game, with some really cool mechanics.

Also, get the "NEW Nintendo 3DS"

Not a new 3DS. Like a legit product names the new Nintendo 3DS.
