The most mind numbing stupid task in a video game that you MUST complete

beating the Desert Bus mini game from Penn and Teller's Smoke and Mirrors for Sega CD.
You drive an empty bus from Tuscon to Las Vegas. You aren't allowed to drive over 45. There is no music. There are no cars on the road. You can't pause. It takes eight hours to complete. Once you get to Vegas you get one point and turn around and do the return trip to Tuscon. The highest score you can get is 99. This takes 33 days to accomplish.
That green mark on the left side of the windshield? That's a bug that you can occasionally hit. It's pretty much the only scenery change in the entire game.

Hmm...I'm sure there is some huge area in an old JRPG with a ton of annoying random spawns that wins this for me. Not sure which one. Also annoying-arse minigames.

It's a random chance at success, higher chance with a higher luck, but still takes forever to get it. I can't pass these up when I find them.
