yeah I had to shell out an extra $10 for some shitty looking power cord

the battery power lasts seemingly forever though. I started with majora's mask and I love the c pad, but I think i'm going to table it for one more game

a link between worlds is too much fun and a good way to mix up my Zeldathon that will last until the new game is released.

I vaguely recall the water temple being the shittiest of them all. for some reason, I just did not enjoy the shadow temple one bit.

Whenever I saw link become an adult in OoT as a kid, I was blown away.

Hell I replayed that game a month ago as a full grown adult and when I saw that cutscene I got full blown nerd chills. I think I actually had to choke back tears. But no one saw me so it's ok.

Need a break from the OT.

What's up with the cow stealing alien invaders in Romani Ranch? This seems like a really random side quest ?

Its odd, but MM has that sort of weird theme.

yea.. so very odd. even in a game with an angry faced moon coming toward us... the aliens seem out of place

hell of an odd sidequest to collect 1 bottle. wonder what made them decide on Aliens... I guess they wanted the player to shoot things coming from the sky?

Ive only done the practice round and not the actual quest but im looking forward to it.

Just bought a Link between worlds for the 3ds. Just like every Zelda. You know what you getting when you buy it and then they just blow you away again and again.

Yeah, a link to the past was my first taste. This has that nostalgia feel but with of course better gameplay.

A link between worlds is the best zelda since MM. It was high quality start to finish with excellent music.

I've always considered people who don't like MM to be OoT fanboys who wanted basically a direct sequel with the same amount of dungeons, weapons and mechanics.

People who think OoT is the greatest think Twilight Princess is one of the next greatests because it's basically the same game as OoT. That was the identical game they were hoping for.

Now OoT is the greatest but I wouldn't rank Twilight Princess next simply because of how similar it is. Now it's a fantastic game though.

How I feel about the the games. MM is just so fricking different it can't be compared. TP is a cheap OoT that loses steam in its second half. I mean shite, was there anything half as intriguing in the half way point of that game as walking out of the Temple of Time, seeing Death Mountain on Fire and ReDeads all around? No.

Instead of tension greatly gained, it is lost entirely. There is not a single reason to give a frick on what happens to the characters in the second half of the game. What happens and what does the villain do? Just sits in his tower waiting for the hero to kill him and nothing more. Seriously, think it through, what did Zant or Ganon do in the second half of the game:

Desert Temple: Really nothing
Ice Mansion: Well, the wife is sick, but nothing.
Temple of Time: Nothing I can think of.
Sky Sanctuary: Absolutely nothing.
Palace of Twilight: Zant is waiting.
Hyrule Castle: Ganondorf is waiting.

They didn't do shite. With each of the Temples in Ocarina you know how Ganondorf has fricked up the area and with people's lives, while I don't know at all with TP. That's why Majora was such a great antagonist. You felt his horror and presence throughout the story. TP builds to an anticlimax and that's it. I don't hate TP, but it's incredibly disappointing.

Breath of the Wild looks amazing though and everything every Zelda since its iteration to 3D wasn't, which is a good thing.

The skull kid is who you feel the most for, especially when you first get on the moon. At that point it all comes together and nothinf but sorrow is felt for him.

You sympathize with the main antagonist which makes the game so great.

MM stands alone in the series not because of gameplay but for its tone of dispair, hopelessness and loneliness most of us experience. You can relate to every damn character in the darkest of ways.

Well, Skull Kid isn't the main antagonist. It's Majora. The only villain in video games I think that can compare to him in terms of being entirely despicable and irredeemable is Kefka from Final Fantasy VI. I really don't think there are any video game villains close to these two as far as competent monsters are concerned.

Yeah but skull kid was posessed by Majora which is what, pure evil really.

Guess you wouldnt knoq that right away but put it together by the 2nd-3rd temple.

Edt: or maybe earlier. Havent played since early 2000s.

For fricks sake,

Guiding that blind as frick gravekeeper Dampe, with the <6 hour countdown on, to find 3 blue torches, two of which were elevated, then fighting a big poe was stressful as frick.

Deposited my rupees, and got the song off with 30 minutes only to spare

The whole ikana graveyard sequence was pretty cool
