When are we going to start the countdown thread?

I think that thread is where I got my sea legs on this site.

I'm no doing that again. I can get the complete batman fix just by popping in arkham city. I literally never get tired of it. It's the only game that I had sky high expectations and it completely exceeded them

If Hamill is done, why bother bringing him back?

I'd rather have a storyline devoid of the Joker since had had top billing in the last two games.

We'll see how they do it. The joker was used perfectly in AC IMO.

Joker without Harley?

Going to take some getting used to

Harley comes in later in the Batman mythos. Joker has been terrorizing Gotham for a good decade by the time he and Harley meet.

I'm not a big fan of Emerson's. He needs to add more edge to it. More aggressiveness. With Emerson, there are times where he sounded too much like Mr. Rodgers.

I really liked Emerson's performance in The Dark Knight Returns, but that's an aged Joker who is more cold and ruthless, not cheerful and energetic, which is what a youthful Joker should be.

I'll tell you who I'd go with: Alan Tudyk. Definitely put forth a great voice performance in Wreck It Ralph to make me think he's up for the task: Spoilers

I liked John DiMaggio in Batman Under the Red Hood myself. I still don't think they have found the right guy to take over the role yet. But I hope they find just 1 guy kind of like Mark, he kinda did the Joker in everything.

Because its a batman game. They are not going to throw joker out. He's way too popular. Some fans like him better than batman.

John DiMaggio
I agree with this.

I think Jon DiMaggio was the 2nd best Joker after Hamill.

On a different note, what new villains do y'all want to see in this game? We are already getting Deathstroke.

Lady Shiva
David Cain
The Phantasm
Hush
Firefly would be a good change of pace, rather than having Mr. Freeze again.
Grendel
The Red Hood (Jason Todd) would be cool.

Way too early in the Batman method to introduce him. Honestly, Red Hood should have been in AC and in charge of training Strange's soldiers, and served as the second to last boss.

I understand that. There are plenty of others that need more screen time though. The joker is great, but why have other rogues if we continue to use him at every turn?

The Joker gets boring when every story involves him.

I didn't know he was in that movie

That would be true of he were the main focus of the 3rd game

So far it certainly hasn't been boring

He's the star of AA
Unbeknownst to us he is also the main villain of AC

Makes sense when you realize that Mark Hamill's joker is the best voice acting on planet earth and that the joker is the epitome of a super villain

You could of had him replace azrael and had an extended side mission

Certain points in the game at particular location you fight red hood and a group of assassins

Or have him replace dead shot and make it a longer more involved side mission with a boss fight type culmination

I do like Alan Tudyk, but I need to see videos of the joker with his voice.

The voice of King Candy is, IMO, the stereotypical gay voice.

It really is. Joker in AC was beyond incredible.

I don't know. It seems like Arkham City and the plan for mass extermination of criminals would be something Red Hood would be behind and support. Maybe instead of making Mad Hatter behind mind controlling the elite units, just have Red Hood train them to be bad asses instead, and when Batman finally has the potential to thwart the plan, have them face off, more as Hugo Strange's glorified bodyguard. Have him have the same gadgets roughly as Batman does, plus guns. Plus it would have been nice to use the Scarecrow again and make the flashbacks dealing with his failure of Jason Todd, only to face him at the end.

Ehh, he just needs to make it more raspy. I think he has it in him to be a good one, but it would still pale in comparison to Hamill's, who is pretty much the only voice you hear when reading the comics.
