Some dude on Twitch is saying it took 45 minutes to install the game, plus it has a 15gb update to dl.

Can anybody confirm?

It's a big arse download if that's what you're asking.

I'm asking if it's going to take like an hour and a half to play this game after I insert the disc. That would be painful.

Yeah, maybe if you have the solid disk. Im digitally downloading it now and its looking like I may not be able to play it until tomorrow after work. Its going soo slow even at 15-20 mbs. Must be millions of people trying to do it at the same time.

No idea if I'll have to update afterwards or not

Halo 2 is the greatest multiplayer experience I've ever had. Ever.

but is this worth it?

It's all relative. Halo 2 came out my freshman year of college so I have a ton of nostalgia attached to it. I played Halo 2 on XBox Live regularly up until the day they shut the servers down. I'm mostly excited about getting back into that experience and playing on those old maps.

I'm so freaking stoked about finally getting back on Ascension, Ivory Tower (all time favorite Halo map), Terminal (THAT frickING TRAIN), Coagulation, Relic (storming the fricking beaches of Normandy), Zanzibar (one-bomb on this map is absolutely fricking AWESOME), Sanctuary (just a fricking great symmetrical map), Turf...and of course.

I've got the hugest boner right now.

So glad I downloaded this game last Friday. All I have to do is wait till 11:01 central and then start fricking killing children.

Mine was going incredibly slow then I started playing some online multiplayer and somehow it finished while I was playing oddly enough.

Mines at 83%, gonna be close

Hopefully when ppl in my area stop using the internet and start going to bed it will speed up.

I have no idea if that's a technologically correct theory btw

I got my Xbone yesterday just for this game. Debated ordering the Sunset Overdrive bundle but it wouldn't come in for a week. Figured I wouldn't even play SO once the collection came out so I walked out with a standard one.

I have owned all 8 Halo games on their release date and Halo 3 is still my favorite. I just really enjoyed the added equipment element.

Nothing was more satisfying than grabbing the energy drainer at the beginning of an objective game on Valhalla, jumping out the man cannon and throwing the drainer over the hill, and popping up to get a triple kill with 3 head shots. FTMFW.

Shooting a stalagmite and having it fall and kill someone on Waterworks in Halo 2 is pretty close.
