The CPU AI in NBA 2k15 is absolute fricking garbage.

How did they have such massive oversight as to make the CPU think it was a good idea to go for a layup down 3 with 11 seconds left? This happens all the fricking time. NBA 2k13 is 10x the game this piece of shite is. Then I hit a 3 to tie it up, the get a 2 with 2 seconds left, and instead of giving me time to run up court, the CPU IMMEDIATELY inbounds the ball when I'm under the opponents goal, forcing me to take a fullcourt shot. It's literally borderline retarded.

Dude do you know basketball at all. Even the least bit? Going for 2 with 11 seconds left happens every game. It's NBA. you foul let them shoot free throws and call timeout hoping they miss FT and the ball advances past half court for either winning shot or tie. If you're gonna bash something then at least have a clue

I know how basketball fricking works. We inbounded the ball with 11 seconds left. The ball didn't cross halfcourt until there was like 7 seconds left, again, because the CPU always immediately inbounds the ball and doesn't let me run upcourt before starting the clock. I pass the ball off an Ellis dribbles once then goes for a layup with 5 seconds on the clock. Apparently I didn't do a good job of explaining it, but you can kindly go frick yourself.

With 2 seconds left why didn't you call timeout? If you didn't have any, obviously the computer should be full court pressing. It would be really stupid for them to let you get a free pass to half court

I think the point is something like this would have NEVER happened in 2k13. The teammate AI was eons better than this and the cpu would wait until you called for the ball to inbound it so you could actually get upcourt before starting the clock.

I could break 2k13 easily. On the hardest difficulty. After you make a shot, immediately select the PG and press the opponent PG on the inbound, forcing the SG to bring it down the court. Shadow the PG down the court and the SG will always try to pass it back at the top of the key. With practice you can steal it every time for a fast break and never lose.

Doesn't work quite as well if the SG is a /PG but it's still effective.

I did that a lot.

You could bait passing lanes easily in the game for sure.
