10th school is Wisconsin.
Apparently you start your mycareer as a High School player and get recruited by these schools. You then get to pick one of them to play for in college.

How Kentucky and Duke didn't make the cut is mind blowing

Makes me want a college game again that much more.

Did they do a fan vote to determine which colleges were represented? Much more likely they went to the universities to get permission.

UNC too.
The lack of Kentucky really surprised me because the game involves getting recruited and I cannot see Calipari not being involved with that some how

Not an advantage for those schools or anything
I'd be interested in seeing the legal capabilities of those schools being able to be in the game. I know the NCAA franchise was killed because the CLC refused to agree to terms with EA.
In a brief glance at the list of institutions under the CLC UCLA and Georgetown are both listed as clients so the CLC appears to be willing to pimp institutions as long as players of those institutions don't have a right to a paycheck.
Which begs the questions: why only these 10 institutions?
As other have noted UK, UNC and Duke aren't included. Meanwhile Texas is fresh off of firing their coach and hasn't produced a household name since Kevin Durant in 2007

They have to pay the institutions to use them in a videogame, and I would imagine those three you mentioned, asked for way too much for a part of the game that isn't that significant. However, I don't think Kentucky is under the CLC, which probably means they even asked for more.
They went with those 10 because they are fairly iconic schools (outside of maybe Nova, but at least they have a title)
All I know is Friday can't come soon enough, plus FIFA on Thursday, early game for LSU and a weak CFB schedule on Saturday means that PS4 will be busy

ewww, no LSU.
Not sure who to chose.
Since I'm going to be a PG again this year, guess I'll go with Zona who is known or was known for pumping PG talent in the NBA.
i've also seen and heard there are position by position height/weight limits and max stats. which is amazing news considering the "Demi-God" situation in 2K15 & 2K14.

Have to go with Nova! Can't wait until the release.
Does anyone know if there will be a draft option for online franchise? It seems that was the most fun I had was drafting players in previous 2k's.
