Stronghold Collection

Saw the Stronghold Collection on sale for like 8 bucks. How was this series? I somehow never got into, but looks fun. Does it still hold up? I still love Rome Total War and cracked it up again last year or so. Graphics are blah now, but the RTS part is still good.

Nope. The closest comparison is Age of Empires and even then, they're pretty different. You either gather resources and build a castle or you gather resources to build an army to attack a castle. I love stronghold 1. I heard the others had issues but that the latest was pretty good.

Stronghold is pretty much a traditional RTS like Command and Conquer. It is just a different setting.

Played Stronghold 1 and Stronghold Crusaders. Both great.
