This is certainly a risk. Not necessarily filler, but the Switch may live on Nintendo games and big indie titles. And maybe that was the plan all along.

As said before release, anyone getting the Switch and then expecting third party AAA titles, even if it was successful, is probably missing the point. That still might happen, but it will probably take another 12+ months.

The real hope was, in this case, getting back to the Tatsunoku vs Capcom and RE4 times. Capcom making successful games that fit the console.

For instance, RE4, you know one of the greatest games of all time, was a GC exclusive for almost 1 year. Stats:

Gamecube had like 1/6th the install base of the PS2. But this meant "Oh, PS users love RE and Nintendo users don't."
