Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes

Anyone else play? Seems like a pretry big game judging by the following on the game's forum.

Yeah, I've been playing for several months now. I had a droid team that was pushing top ten in my shard but I had to start over a couple of months ago because I switched from an iPhone to an Android. Almost back to level 70 now. Currently running HK47 lead, with IG88, IG86, TIE Fighter Pilot, and Boba Fett. In Arena I hover between 25-50.

Nice team. Haven't really built a droid team yet. I'm running ST Han, Boba, Rey, Fives, and Geonosian Soldier in Arena. Have Boba and Geo at Gear 8, rest at gear 7. I can stick in the Top 100, get into the 30s at payout. Just hit Level 70 yesterday.

I'm not sure my team will be viable long-term like I had originally hoped. I love Boba but I'll probably have to replace him with either B2 or Sun Fac to have a debuffer. I guess I could replace TFP with Jawa Engineer and just go full droids again. I don't know. I'll figure something out.
If you want my advice, Rey and GS have taken you about as far as they're going to take you. I used to run a team somewhat similar to yours before I made the switch to droids. You have decent characters but they don't really synergize. I'd drop the two I mentioned and get some replacements that play off of each other's strengths. Wedge and Biggs are the obvious pair, if you don't mind running a cookie-cutter team. Leia and Ackbar could work, too, or Jedi Knight Anakin and Ahsoka if you don't mind a little slower farm. Lando and another scoundrel of your choosing could also work and would mesh well with ST Han and Boba. Just my two cents.

I've enjoyed it so far. Better synergy than the Jedi team I was running as dar as I'm concerned (couldn't break 150 in Arena). Rigut now I'm working on a rebel/scoundrel team with Lando lead, Boba, ST Han, Baze, and Rey. I will likely replace Rey with Leia eventually, but I've been hesitant to move to any rebel teams because I regularly run over Akbar leads with Leia. The only ones I have trouble with (ironically) are Wiggs and/or Chaze teams.
Ran JKA and Ahsoka with a clone team in GW until I got all 4 clones, then I wrecked with JKA and the 4. JKA and Ahsoka shard drops are just entirely too slow for my taste. I typically get one shard for 48 energy for either of them.
I have been seeing more and more Ahsokas in arena though. And the occasional JKA. Nice for diversity, but not sure of it's viability long-term.

You can farm Ahsoka from both Cantina and Fleet shipments, so she isn't that bad. JKA is pretty rough, though.

Lmao! Yep. I plan on at least having a serviceable Baze. A Tank with auto taunt and counter is just cruel.

Running Wiggs, Emperor, Lando, and Royal Guard. Working on Baze and Shoretrooper, but I'm not going to spend any money on this game. Makes getting those characters difficult.

I can't advance at all in the Level 9 battles because I don't have Wedge, Biggs, Ackbar, Lando, and Anakin leveled high enough.

I use 4 teams in Galactic War, in order:
Team 1: Ackbar (lead), Biggs, Wedge, Leia, K2SO
Team 2: Phasma (lead), Boba Fett, Barriss, Rey, and Lando
Team 3: Palpatine (lead), Vader, Royal Guard, Sidious, rotating healer (Talia/Daka)
Team 4: Windu (lead), Luminara, Consular, Yoda, Ahsoka

Finally just decided to bite the bullet and take a shot at a Wiggs team (also had Chirrut) this morning...mowed through them like a knife through hot butter. I just outsped them and clipped Wedge's speed boost with Boba's DFA. 3 of my 5 toons have over 150 speed (maybe not super fast compared to higher levels, but I normally get off 3 attacks before my opponent gets 1), and my slowest is Fives at 123.
Haven't finished GW yet today, but I'm on the 9th node and have only lost Han out of my main team. Lost Han, Rey, and Phasma yesterday, but Rey and Phasma died on the last node which was a bunch of 78 to 80 level toons.
