I still say Battlefront should not have heroes

Now, I have no problem with an option to play the modes without heroes, have it just be troopers, but the hero vs villains online games I use to have on 2 were some of the most fun games I've ever played. That Palpatine choke/lightning combo was the truth.

Some info from a Press Q&A at Celebration this past weekend.
Single Player:
- other members of squad will have different attributes
- you'll see Kylo/Luke POV when Iyden confronts them
- atmosphere / space battles in campaign
- campaign ties into other Star Wars Canon (books/comics)
Multiplayer:
- hero / vehicle pick ups going away
- lightsaber combat has been revamped drastically
- no partner/squad system

Hope the single player mode is better this time. I just liked the battle modes of the old games, about 200 on each side and kill all on opposing team. Hope they bring that back.
