But would you consider them "warriors"?

Not seeing anything wrong with what happened.

I wasn't really bothered by those things. Nadine was the leader of a mercenary army. Safe to say she had more formal combat training than Nathan or Sam.
As for Cassie, I was like "Yep, bet Nathan still wishes he had a boy." That and Sully has to be 85 years old in the epilogue.
Also, "Well, what if it were a girl" is meme-worthy

Is that not what happens at the conceptual stage anyway? Does this character work better as a girl or a boy? Seems like a legit think to consider when conceptualizing a character
SJW nonsense would be Elena being a moo cow or dressed like an Amish woman, it would be Chloe's arse not being front and center, it would be injecting a political viewpoint uneccesarily into the plot or staring out with the goal of advancing a belief or to make a statement on shite like that
Game is awesome, everything made sense. 90% of the game is Sam, Nate and sully being thieving adventurous scumbags.

I thought the game was great, none of the characters being a badass woman made it unbelievable to me or anything.
However, if they made a sequel with Nate's daughter I will not be picking it up. Tomb Raider has already done that and it will just appear more as a money grab than anything else.

I bet Wil Wheaton agrees with the article.

Why exactly? It's a valid question. Now I don't think you need tick marks to make sure enough of your characters are women and minorities, and I would never say we should force artists into changing their creations for the sake of diversity, but if you can sit back and go "I'm only making this a guy because that's just what I'm used to" and see that making it a woman doesn't hurt anything, and MIGHT just add a better dynamic to the story, by all means.
There is a gray area that people love to ignore. Doesn't always have to be one of two things.

Specifically about uncharted. If this was about Natalie Drake instead, a lot of gamers would have just said it was a copy cat of tomb raider.
I don't see why the issue needs to be forced. People are acting like having male heroes like super man and Batman is a bad thing.
What's wrong with white males having a role? Do we look at a female character and ask the same question?

For one thing the Naughty Dog employee asking the question was female. When told about Nathan's son and an old man as the owner of the mansion, both times she's like "well what if it's a girl?".
Secondly, I just think the quote would be hilarious attached to funny pictures

The fact that people have time and energy to argue over this shite is mindblowing

Who in the frick cares?
Is the game less fun because of a badass chick?
