Side question. What's the point of having money being a factor in contracts? I can't do anything with it can I?

I mean you're supposed to ask for as little as possible so your team's payroll allows them to sign other people. I was on the Giants in last year's game w/ Bum, Strasburg, Darvish in the rotation and Puig, Moncada, Rizzo and myself in the field.
This year I'm on the Dodgers because the fricking Rangers always trade me, but I haven't played too far into. I hit like .450 w/ 100 HR's at the All-Star break in my last season and quit. I wish they'd make it harder.
Also, I'm kind of confused about the point of this post lol, RTTS is easy as hell to break the HR record in.

what year did you do it in?
also, thanks for the heads up on the contract question. i'll keep that in mind when my next contract comes up. i got a little greedy recently.

Lol yeah, I used to take the money as well, but then I realized you can't do shite with it and my team wouldn't have anyone else good on it

You know you can up the difficulty
I don't care what you say, you won't convince me that you hit 100 dingers before the all star break playing on the highest difficulty.

i play second base because they typically don't have to have too high of ratings for fielding and throwing people out at first/second base.

Lol yes, I know this. I play on Dynamic so it's ever changing on my performance, meaning, I've been stuck on the hardest one for forever. Also, you're right, I exaggerated, I have 103 HR's w/ 20 games remaining (Before anyone asks, I randomize the face and go with it haha)
Eventually your RTTS character just gets OP as hell. Before that year I'm in, I was damn good player, but at least it was somewhat on the brink of possible, hence why I quit haha.
A bit more info, I don't play a ton of RTTS. I played a lot of DD and was like an 1800 rated player, so like above average, and finished in the top 100 in the weekly challenges multiple times whenever it was someone whose stance I didn't despise.
Playing online you learn not to swing at everything, because I used to be the same way, like who the frick draws a walk w/ their RTTS guy? But switching to zone hitting and only swinging at mistakes the AI makes (which is quite often) makes any record breakable in the game.

I got so sick and tired of randomly dropping fly balls that I switched my guy to 2B as well. The errors in that game are so dumb.
