So my PS3 has the YLOD and I'm not sending it back to Sony...

So which website would fix it the best? I've looked at GopherMods and PS3repairshop so far. How are they about fixing it? I looked into fixing it myself, but I'd probably just make it blow up and I'm not getting a PS4 until next Summer.
Also, my GTAV 5 disc is in there so no matter what, this thing is getting fixed. TIA for all help/advice.

I would look into their being a manual disc release. This happened to my xbox and i managed to get out disc thank god. I don't have ps3 so no clue if it does. I think i just popped of front and there was something to do it.

You tube will tell you how to get the disc out. I did it and I also repaired mine. Lots of screws and is tricky to get it apart. I put more thermal paste on mine and fixed it. Traded it in and bought a super slim.
