So Impressed with NCAA 2013 Demo

This is the biggest leap that EA has made with NCAA football in a very long time. Game is SO MUCH smoother/better than recent years. The gameplay, animations, QB play, receiver play, everything is better

I liked the slow motion during Heisman mode. That was a neat touch. I may pick it up used in 5 months or so.

graphics are better as well i think. when i was playing Bama/LSU..Mathieu was playing way off and i audibled a quick out (which was WIDE open) and i threw a bullet pass but the LSU DE was dropping in contain and picked the ball off on his tip toes and fell to the ground with this cool animation.

I'm a huge NCAA guy, it has been a release day purchase for me NCAA 2000, with that being said the demo always gets people excited, but hasn't always held true for the actual release. Just giving you a heads up because the EA bashers will be here shortly.

I played little last night ...I came away impressed. Love the new leading the receiver option and pump fakes. Game does seem smoother and the tackles seem that more realistic as well. On 2012 I was used to throwing screens using L2, now it seems R2 is the button in 2013.
Gonna dig into Dynasty Mode a little more today. I ran the ball pretty well with Eddie Lacy and took a KO back 107yds with Chrstion Jones vs LSU ...I did get picked by Tharold Simon and he took it to the house off an out pattern tho lol. DB's seem to have better AI this time around

They switched the Left bumper as the 5th receiver to the right bumper. That's been messing me up pretty bad in the demo Bc you cant change the controls. I'll be changing that back as soon as I get the whole game. Right bumper was throw the ball away wasn't it? I think that is now right stick button

Anyone notice the blur occurring during gameplay to simulate speed? I do not like.
Passing seems legit 15-21 vs bama 3tds. Great catching animations.
Man defense still isn't fixed. Hopefully it will get attention along with 4-2-5.

I'll add a few comments.
I was underwhelmed, but enjoyed it.
EA REEEEEEEEEAAAALLLY likes USC this year. Really. For real.
Safeties are a bit too smart, imo. Make sick breaks for the ball, and seem to catch better than the WR's.
DE's or LB's covering WR's step for step on drag routes, is an unwelcome addition.
Still some player warping, and getting sucked into blocks.
trajectories are nice. The return of the corner route.
no changes , graphically, but I don't give a shite how pretty it is. . .
Overall a step up, though, from a gameplay perspective.
I will buy. Not as excited as I was, but I am cautiously optimistic.

I think it looks very improved this year. Enjoyed playing with RG3 on LSU against Bama.

The suction blocks are annoying when you have speed rushers like mingo and sonic.
Seems like they completely fixed passing.
