As someone who never played it on the last generation, I'm really looking forward to this.

Friday.

Same here. I played it about a year ago for the first time for about 15 hours before waiting because this edition was announced.

I'm getting laid off with severance on friday so my next month will be spent in Skyrim excited.

Sorry to hear it. Enjoy the game

I so want this but I know it will be a lot cheaper than $60 in the not so distant future. Will have to show patience.

Ezio Collection will be another test, although I read it's not going to be an actual remaster.

Yea it sucks, esp considering where I live and worked, I'm going to have to go to lake charles or lafayette most likely to work. But I'm going to ride this severance off hoping to find something closer and dive into Skyrim for at least a month, I never had time to play it before so it's kinda perfect timing and a bright side of the shitty lay off.

Enjoy. I've been laid off before. If you aren't worried about finding work it can be glorious. I got 6 weeks of sleeping in, naps, and watching movies.

I'm at least taking all of November off, but I have about 6 weeks as well paid for so it's going to be nice babysitting my 3 year old son and experiencing Skyrim for the first time, taking naps at will and being in my pjs all day

sucks that sony put a limit on mod sizes. Mods make this game 1000000000000 times better and playable to where u dont even have to mess with the lame civil war quests.

since you cannot use scripts with consoles, the mods are going to get quite big. And Sony pretty much assured their owners that they will be getting a much shorter list of mods compared to xbone.

right now Xbone has 65 mods for it on bethesda.net, which is where your game will dload from.

PS4 has 10, and not 1 of the top mods, like alternate start, open borders, paarthanax dilema, etc

Hell, some of the pc modders already ported their new lands mods over to xbone.

The Modders already created a patch for the game, for xbone.

I'm pissed at the whole modding situation as well, at least they did compromise though I'll give them that.

That said, ps4 has 10 mods listed and xbone has 66, but they are basically all shite too. The good ones will come after launch. The ps4 mod scene is going to suck. Good thing I'll I really care about is playing through vanilla with enhanced graphics. It does suck that I can't fight a Randy Savage dragon though.

Mods like this are what makes the modded game so great. Simple, but it does so much for the game, and immersion is still there.

But that's a simple lamp post mod that's 169kb. Surely that could be on the ps4 right? I dont see it using any assets out of the game

See, this makes me happy, so for gameplay mods and making the overall experience better the PS4 should have some of good ones at least.

This is a good example of a gameplay enhancing mod and shows how small the size could be. People were making a big deal out of the 1GB size limit and here is an awesome mod that enhances the game at 168KB on the PS4. It puts lamp posts on every single road in Skyrim so it's not a small feat.

The #1 mod on PS4 I want, and I think it should be ok under the restrictions is just simply give venders unlimited coin.

i have never had one of those mods work correctly, even on PC. always some errors.

Used a couple where i could invest in their company, and the investment would bump her kitty, but never unlimited.

Problem is, most mod authors didnt get the game and creation kit yet.

So a majority of mods should be coming out as this weekend and next week go along.

Skywind already ported to Skyrim SE for PC. Mod guys who do have the game are doing work. Many said they wouldnt do it, but it seems like they changed their mind.
