I hear you. But what I mean is I already have some books that I happened across from adventuring, but they are not in skills I think I'll use much of. So should I just go ahead and read them anyway since I have lots of points to do so, or should I hold on to those points for when I buy books for skills I think I'll actually use?

I would say 100% sell them. U need to use the limited points you have to specialize in a few skills. I know it seems like money is hard to come by but as u level up u actually end up having more money than available skill points
Also. The bounty noticeboards pay well and its normally really easy, dungeons with about 5 guys that are split up into groups of 2 and 3
