Help me suck less at this game. There are so damn many orcs all over the place. My normal game play style of jumping into the fray won't work on this game.

How the F do I save the game?

Is it possible to clear areas or do Orcs respawn over and over infinitely?

Give me some tips you wish you had known when you started out.

You will be able to do that once you level up. Keep your combo going.

Once you leave the area, they will respawn.

Use stealth to your advantage. Find a fighting style that allows you to do damage and avoid being hit and use it repeatedly. You will learn to throw in other moves once you become comfortable with a style that works for you. Don't be afraid to bail out of a fight if you're outmatched.

It took me a while to get comfortable with the combat in this game, but once you figure it out you can destroy orcs with relative ease. Just keep practicing.

Play the game like you would the Batman series. Stick and move and stayou hidden.

About halfway in I became a God so it didn't matter.

Am I time constrained in any way. If I take too long to move from area to area are the orcs getting stronger or do they only get stronger killing me.

I really like the game but my normal RPG style is to clear one area and move along to the next. Can't do that on this game and the OCD completionist part of my brain is struggling with the constant non stop respawns of bad guys.

Fun game but it has a learning curve. I'm staying in the same area and just circling around learning how to use combat. Thus I was worried if I spent too much time in this initial spot, are the bad guys getting stronger elsewhere.

How did you guys use your points early on? Did you spread them out or stick to ranger or wraith?

From my entire post that's the part you highlight? Maybe you should offer some advice instead of being a count.

The enemies will always respawn.

Whatever monster kills you gets a promotion and gets armor.

Clear the map as you go but stick to main quest for a bit so you can get the dash kill skill and learn the stealth aspects better.

I do love the nemesis system. Pretty neat to get killed by one bastard then watch a whole chain of duels and promotions.

Just spent about 90 minutes running in circles around some rocks trying to keep from promoting some guy for the 3rd time. Just when I think I got him, 2 more captains show up to help. Keep running in circles picking off the last guy in stealth. More folks get called over. With patience, I finally killed all the bastards but that took about 2 hours.

Game is lots of fun. I actually find myself paying attention and reading the lore whereas most games I skip through all that stuff.

I don't remember specifics, but there was one orc that ended up getting some boosts from killing me so much that he was basically impossible for me to kill until I got some higher level wraith skills. He'd kill me, I'd get mad and try to get revenge, but there was nothing I could do. Finally got him once I got that control skill. The only thing I remember about him was that he was a ranged orc.

Do the main story and at a certain point the skills/tuned you get will make you ridiculously overpowered. I think I may have died once during the second half of the game.

Early in the game, some orcs can get a set of abilities that make them near impossible to kill, just skip those until you get more powerful ranged attacks and such.

Learn to dodge the poison, that shite is stupid.

I wish they would of did the loyalty skill part earlier in the game. Made the game more fun, but it was given to you at pretty much the end of the game.

Early part of the game is all about stealth and range. Later in the game, just stomp everyone. I remember one skill required you to take on like 50 orcs in a fighting pit. I took em all out like it was nothing.

Early on, it's important to scout all the leaders. Find out the easiest ways to kill them. Try to avoid the ones that don't have a glaring weakness. Some of them can be killed with one or two arrows. You can kill some from behind. Just get close enough to where you can make a short sprint and assassinate him without him noticing you.

Later in the game, you can just walk into a camp and say, "frick it. Let's see what this guy's got."

Yeah, that knucklehead that keeps killing me is immune to bows and sneak attacks so I'll have to wait for my revenge against him.

I really am impressed with the nemesis system.

I need to give this game a third shot. I couldn't get into it the first two times I tried it.

I enjoy the heck out of it but it is a lot different than my normal style of run into the middle of the pack and cause havoc.

Took me a good bit of time to learn the standard controls and still have no clue about combos.

I am a bit of a LOTR nerd so it is fun playing my first game in that world.

Got lucky tonight. One bad guy walked up to me all by himself. Boom.

One of the crossbow captains also made the mistake of wandering alone. Killed 5 captains tonight. Led one under where I was hiding and dropped for an instant stealth kill from 4 stories up.

Those dual wielding bad guys are rough. You need to stun them first to hit the bastards but the captain was surrounded by 5 other dual axe body guards. Took my time. Hid when I could. picked off loan orcs to drain for more arrows. Took a while but I got the bastard. Then another crossbow jackwagon shows up. I got lucky, he was afraid of bees and there was a nest nearby. He ran off on his own and I killed him DEAD spelled M-o-o-n.

Messed up last night. Got a bit lazy and didn't check weaknesses and got killed several times and that really elevated the hell out of a pile of folks.

Was off to revenge kill one guy and didn't notice he had 2 other captains with him. Hate strong orcs with crossbows.
