Has anybody had their big league club make insane roster moves?

I am a shortstop in the Red Sox organization and right around the all-star break the Red Sox traded Pedroia for Russell Martin and Mark Buehrle. There may have been another player involved, but the trade wasn't the crazy part.

When they made the trade I felt like I would get a call up soon since my secondary position was second base. I wasn't wrong about that, but the moves they made make no sense.

-I got called up to the big leauges
-Xander Bogaerts got sent down to AAA
-The Sox currently don't have any second baseman on the MLB roster and Ryan Hanigan, a catcher, has been starting second base for about a month.

Bogaerts wasn't having that bad of a year and didnt get injured. It's kind of annoying to be playing up the middle with a catcher at second base.

So many bad moves and unrealistic moves that I wish they would let me be the commissioner and reject this bullshite. It happens in both RTTS and Franchise modes.

I haven't had any crazy roster moves yet that are just unheard of. I'm a few years in and I got traded from the Rangers to the Giants and the only move that I didn't really like was that we traded Buster Posey for Bogaerts and a minor league pitcher.

I kind of understood it because we didn't have a decent 2nd basemen and because Posey was 32, but I still didn't want him to go.

My player is a monster and every time I get offered a new contract I take no money leaving a ton available to sign other players. Our rotation is currently Bumgarner, Strasburg, Darvish, Crick (one of the Giants top prospects) and then some other guy who is like an 82 overall.

I'm in my last year of club control, but I haven't decided if I'll stay or not. I wanted to stay with Texas for my whole career, so I may go back.
