Anyone play the beta? Looks like a pretty sharp game. I will probably pick it up when it drops in December.

it got really repetitive really fast. unfortunately I had already pre ordered through humble bundle before the beta.

When you actually got into a game it was pretty fun. Shields were way overpowered and kinda ruined the experience, not to mention the matchmaking was completely broken. Definitely needs some tuning. Tom Clancy/Ubisoft games are notorious for having tons of online issues at launch so be prepared for that

I enjoyed it for the first 3-4 games, but the game in itself would have been better off as a game variation in a larger game instead of it's own game. Kind of like how CoD has domination, S&D, etc. Seige would have been better suited as an add on for Rainbow Six Vegas 3

So who's gonna purchase this today? Should we just wait it out to see whether their server issues are fixed?

I played it a little in the open beta. I don't know what kind of game modes they will have, but the game got repetitive kinda quickly. It's brutally unforgiving, which I liked. Takes some skill, which I like. But I'm not sure if I'd be willing to play it much.
Maybe when it's cheaper I'll get it.

Played until about 2 this morning (Regretting it right about now, gonna be a long day).
I love the gameplay but i do wish there were other game modes. I'm sure eventually it will get old. I'm looking forward to playing Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2 once that happens.

I can't read any reviews (while at work), but I'm almost certain there are more game modes, right? 
It'll probably be closely related to their casual multiplayer where teams attack/defend, but I'm still curious as to what else they'd offer in the full game. It does get repetitive and sometimes tiring after dying so early, but addicting as hell!

I read somewhere that if you pre-order Siege you'll get a free copy of the first Vegas game. Hadn't heard anything on 2 (pass on that one). Not sure if that's what he's talking about.

first time posting here, but I did the pre-order for xbone and in the game it gives you two codes. 1 for rainbow six, and one for rainbow six 2. I guess the games will download when you put the codes in

I was in a few betas for this because I loved both Vegas games.
This makes me want to find the creators of this game and punch them repeatedly in the face for ruing the R6 series.
