I'm all for dogging the consoles, but this is nothing to brag about. You receiver will be the biggest, heaviest.

no shite

the thing sits on its 3 legs as its intended to.....so what if one side settles a bit when you push on it?

its not like its unstable and just gonna vibrate off your entertainment hutch

Observe that the rectangle is supported on 3 of the 4 sides....do I really need to continue.

It was intentionally designed like that. This isn't an oversight. The console is stable unless you're pressing down on the glossy side. I'm not going to be sitting near my console and pressing down on it while I play.

Agreed. Xbone guys are just trying to find things to nitpick.

and you know that an object really only needs 3 points of support as long as they are not linear

I understand that, but I would not want my console rocking back and forth regardless of if I plan on getting up and pushing on it or not. I'm not bashing your wonderful console I just think that was a pretty silly design. We can both sit here and argue it ad nauseam but it will get us nowhere. Just an opinion.

FWIW, it would rock the same way, even with 4 legs, unless the 4 legs were on the outermost corners

i'm done here though, the whole thing is stupid

6/5,000 so far, pretty good in the bigger picture

Maybe I'll just stand it up

Since it doesn't wobble that way, it should be less likely to fall over, right?

I don't know. Standing it up means a longer drop if it does fall. Taking chances, man.

Why are people worrying about the thing wobbling when you put pressure on a corner that's not supported? Of fricking course it will...who's going to be sitting on their PS4 anyway?

This is so stupid.

You want a major design flaw? How about BF4 and CoD Ghosts in 720.

You know what will be fun? When the Bone gets released and its getting picked apart. We will all point and laugh.
