Has anyone have to deal with this? Im trying to figure out if I should just go ahead and buy a new ps4 or test out a website like tronicsfix.com to get it fixed? Im not very tech savy just looking for a friend

Unfortunately had the same problem. Had mine for a few years and I'm pretty sure it wasn't covered under the warranty at that point so I just got another one. The cost to send it back and replace the port wasn't worth it IMO. Used it as an excuse to upgrade to the PS4 Pro.

Had to get another one when that happened time last year. Tried to get it fixed but the guy at the shop (play n trade I think) told me the port is attached to the motherboard or something like that, and he couldn't do anything about it.

If you're not worried about any warranty, there is a last ditch effort you can try to keep it alive for a bit longer. It worked for me for a while but it supposedly voids any warranty. I'm guessing you've probably seen it online like I did but it is taking a flat head screwdriver and bending the port back a bit to being flat.
