That's a huge deal, even if they probably should have had that at launch. Was just about to purchase a bigger hard drive for mine the other day, but this will save me a good bit of money now

I spent $60 on a 2TB drive for my PS4. I feel like you can't save much more money than that.

I filled up my stock my drive on the PS4, changed it out, re-downloaded everything I had on it and I still have 1.7 TB's left, according to the system
I guess if you hoard games or buy like every single free download it makes sense, but I feel like most people will never fill up that much.
