Do you guys need an upgrade or do you just want the new phone? If not much has changed with the newest phone, why upgrade and drop more money?

I need a new battery in mine.. I have a defective battery.. the waiting game for that is like a month.. so might as well do an upgrade.

I use my phone countless times a day everyday
Spending a couple hundred bucks for a better and nicer device seems like an easy decision

But, is it better and nicer? I thought in this very thread the other day people were saying there isn't much difference with these.
I'm not trying to Apple troll you because Android people do this too. My new phone isn't much different than the one I replaced. If it hadn't malfunctioned I'd still have that one and would be content.
ETA: It seems like all you need to say is "Because I want one, dammit." That's cool, just wondering.

30% better life on the battery, much better camera and shutter speeds on it... larger screen.. that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
