ps3 just got red blinking light

I was about to start playing mw3, mother fricker just cuts off and the light starts blinking.
I think I can fix it if I have to. Anyone have a good guide to repair this shite? I'd rather not buy a new one if I don't have to.

I mean I can work on it if I have to. I believe the blinking red light means overheating. Just didn't know if any one else actually fixed this on theirs. And if so is there a method to fix it.

Yeah its a old 20 gb, that I got on ebay like 4 years ago for 240 dollars. So I guess I've gotten pretty much everything out of it

Check with Sony's warrenty site
They are replacing Fat 20 and 60 gb with refurb slim 120's for $99.
you have to do the pre reg stuff and right before you have to enter your cc info they will ask you if you want a refurb slim for $99. I just did this myself this weekend as my 60gb is having issues.
