Yeah, the SCAR-H is tough without the grip. You can change your fire rate, too. I think it's down on the D-Pad. If you go to single fire, you'll do better at long range especially with the heavy barrel.
I looked, you get the grip at 30 kills for the SCAR.

ETA: End Game maps are all basically like Caspian Border. Aftermath maps are basically all like Grand Bazaar, but better. Close Quarters maps are like bigger CoD maps that actually break when you shoot stuff.
