If I could line up my reticle better in a jet I'd try to harrass choppers all day. I just can't get the hang of it.

No, the other pilots were just worse than I am. They would fly fairly slow over the middle of the map, so I could line up my shot. I would lock on with heat seekers and they would pop flares before I ever shot. after the flares I would shoot the missiles and finish them off with the guns. I also disabled a heli with guns and then turned around and they landed to repair so i finished them off on the next pass

I hit an unranked flight server one time. It had two other people. Neither of the practiced flying - one sat in the AA and the other drove a tank around. WTF?

I was miserable in jets for a while. You've got to wait for the opponents to make the curve and expose the length of the jet, I still have a really hard time hitting a jet that is flying directly away from me.
