I always have a big back log for vita. All my games are like 40 hours plus

Final Fantasy 9 is my favorite, but have only played 9 and 7 on Vita.

I'm hearing good things about Grand Kingdom.
It's pretty good. I got it on PS4 instead of Vita, but I do recommend it.

Why'd you pick FF2?

I have never really heard much about the first two final fantasy games.

Cause it's there

This! That's why I never finish old games even if I love them.

I don't get far. Playing with a guide isn't fun for me.

Tales of Hearts R is really good. I love FF7 but that depends on if you want to play the original before the remake (if it comes). Wild Arms is on my to do list.
Freedom Wars made me mad at the beginning and I never went back.

Rainbow Moon is good, but there are better games on that list.

I seem to remember ff2 being pretty fun. A friend let me borrow about 15 years ago I guess. I played all the way through it and I'll usually stop playing games I think suck.
I'm sure it's incredibly dated now, but, it's a good story and the turn based combat was fun

I like what I see of ff2, but I'm already stuck I just don't want to play with a guide.

Good choice. About half way through you have to grind more compared to the Xillia games.

Suikoden 2 is probably the best game out of the lot, but it has aged a bit.
Muramasa Rebirth -> Freedom Wars -> Hearts R are my next picks.
Muramasa Rebirth is really up there quality wise. If you're still interested after the first few minutes, then I think you'll really like it. The art style and setting make it quite niche, but the combat is just so good.
Honestly though, I don't think you could go very wrong with most of those.
