I saw bloodstained reached the benchmark to come out on vita. I also saw that best buy is pushing vita in their weekly ads this week. I can only assume vita is about to sell 50 million units, handheld master race

Vita is legacy hardware now. Probably just trying to get rid of the thing. PSVita TV was supposedly $40 this week. Would've bought if I had a Best Buy near me.

He was referencing the writing off the first generation Vita hardware as part of their revenue and losses.
Honestly, whatever you want to call it, it's not like it's a secret that Sony doesn't support it with Western first party titles.

Most of their support comes from cross buy games which is already more than I can keep up with.

That's why I don't play p4g often. I play a lot then not at all for a couple of weeks. They could not release any more games and I would have plenty to play.

I play mine just sitting on the couch sometimes when I want to relax. Or when my roommate is using the TV.

Yeah. In fact, we sold more than we had internally targeted last year. We saw some issues in the market last year with supply constraint, which was kind of a surprise. I still believe it’s the best hand held gaming experience as far as what it brings you from technology and screen resolution. PlayStation Now, our streaming gaming service, is supported by Vita, so that’s bringing new users. And the fact that Vita got to support remote play for PS4, that caused a huge spike in sales, which we’re still kind of chasing

Unfortunately they also said no first party developers will be working on vita games anymore. I can do without them but I like having them just to boost sales.

Not entirely true. There will still be cross platform with PS4, and SCEJ + SCEE will both still do Vita titles. They will just be small projects. For example, SCEE does Invizimals and a line of kid friendly titles with Looney Tunes and the Muppets.

Finally starting to plow through my vita backlog. Playing shovel Knight and the sly collection now, probably gonna get back to persona 4 next. So that should hold me off until 2019

Might be hard after playing P4G. I've never played, but I heard you can't go around town like in 4.

Honestly I will never play it anyway. I may get p4g and trade in my physical copy though.

Lol, at least you're honest with yourself. Persona 3 is very good though. I liked the story and characters more than P4, while P4 had better gameplay.
