I see that they are for sale now in local Best Buy stores. Have any of y'all bought one? If so, how are your experiences with it? I want to buy one so that I can stream my PS4 from the living room into my bedroom instead of having to unplug and transport the system each time.

I have one, the room where I put it has a pretty week wifi signal so the stream was a little slower then I anticipated but once I spruce it up it'll be nice. On that subject does anyone have any recommendations for a good wifi booster?

I may get this for my bedroom when the living room is taken over. So it really just streams whatever your PS4 is playing? Basically how PS Now worked?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe I read a while back that it also has a Vita game cartridge slot so you can play your physical Vita games right off of it using a DS3 or DS4.

The Playstation TV is a PS Vita without the dedicated screen. It plays nearly all digital and physical Vita/PSP games. Vita has remote play, and you're doing remote play with PS TV.

So I can play whatever game is in my living room PS4 in my bedroom?

Why isn't this getting talked about more?!?

Didn't sell well in Japan and Sony doesn't advertise it well at all. It's also not for a large market. Most people are content with 1 console for their occasional gaming.

After reading the gizmodo review, I can see other reasons why it wasn't well received.

The app is simply not supported on PSTV and according to Netflix there is no plan to add support.

Not only that but you can actually download the app on PSTV, along with other apps you would find on Vita, but you cannot even use them.

Why would they not make the app supported? That's so incredibly bizarre. Netflix is already on everything else...
