Played through that over last two weeks. Strategy and complexity pretty simple and straight forward. More of the same from the persona 5 characters so if you like them, thats a good thing. over all enjoyable.
but man, the soundtrack, it is killer and probably one of the better all around soundtracks ive heard in awhile. give it a listen if you get a chance.
some personal favorite samples:
abyss of despair (the hook at the 1:20ish mark, chef's kiss)
hideout VT
Got your tail
inextinguishable
plenty more bangers on it.

I just can’t get past the cringe factor of the high school slice of life stuff.
The shin Megami Tensei stuff seems cool though

Yeah, if you're not get past it, then these probably aren't for you.
Did you try the remaster of Shin Megami Tensei 3 they did a few years back? It's on PS4 and Switch I think.
