I was pretty good at CS:S...stopped playing because of BF3..every time I go to play a game of CS:S now, I end up playing BF3 instead :/
Think CS:GO is supposed to be out later this year..I'm not all that excited about it, it's just CS:S with a makeover and some gay additions like the molotov cocktail.

Never played with the shield...played the beta up to 1.4 I believe, then didn't start again til CS:S

i played beta up until 1.6.... refused steam until i had to have it to play..... boycotted source until about 2 weeks ago, i play tf2 a ton

Steam is incredible. Just a blessing to PC gamers. But I know that hardcore 1.6 players sort of turn a nose up to Source. I think they feel it's easy mode or something.

Yeah I love steam. Source is great too, but I was always into DOD more than CS and Source was a plus for that series IMO.

original hatred for steam was HAVING to have it, cs had a much better UI on their own... the only good thing steam had was a friends list which didnt work the first 3 years anyway... idk why i didnt jump to source, guess i wasnt done with 1.6 yet, and the mechanics are very diffrent from gun sprays to nade throws, im down with the source now
