I'm not serious player, but I play on-line on the show 2015. In the dynasty section - I have more problems with on-line cheaters. Like the game freezing and a double is amazingly caught etc.
Frustrating that gamers have to result to cheating to win a on-line game.

It's not them cheating. It's an issue on the game. Sometimes it looks like a hit on your screen but it really isn't. It's hard to explain.

Ok. Thanks for the reply. I could understand if it happens every online game but it doesn't. When it happens it occurs multiple time against the same player.
I was just looking for ways to combat against it.
Ex I had a double that was basically bouncing off the wall that the cf was nowhere close to the ball and cf catches the damn ball.

No there's a legitimate problem with lag switchers and the reporting system on The Show. It drove me away from playing online. Their matchmaking system is garbage. Nobody playing their 10th game should be forced to play someone that has played 200 games.

Youll know when it's a lag switcher though by their online record and how they play the game.

Could you explain further - how can I tell if they are a lag player?

You hit a ball in the gap for a sure fire hit and it lags and his player magically appears and catches it.

You're in the field and he hits a ball and your player lags, runs in places, and he runs around the bases until he scores

You consistently can't hit balls in the strike zone

Ive even seen a guy hit a lag switch and throw a guy out from left field. It's fairly obvious

In my experience with lag switchers, it's usually obvious only when he is pitching. You'll see a ball that visually looks like a ball way outside, and then all of a sudden it pops up and is counted as a strike. If this happens more than a handful of times, it's a lag switcher. As far as the fielding animations and base path stuff, that is just poor servers on SDS' side. It's been there since day one and there has been minimal adjustments to stabilize the issues. I can't tell you how many games i've lost because I visually get a ball in the gap and think I have a double, and possibly a triple only to get to the next batter and see that I was called out somewhere on the basepaths. Hell, even the commentary gets off sync with the plays. I've had a fly ball get called as if I had just hit a triple

The latency issues coupled with the abuse of overpowering speedy batters forced me to stop playing MLB The Show this year. I just couldn't take it anymore. I was 1800+ in DD before calling it quits. When you get up to that point, everyone has a loaded lineup and/or rotation/bullpen, or they have speedy players 1-8 and they just bunt with everyone and then steal 2nd/3rd and squeeze home. It was just an all out cheesefest.

I played a game on-line - it wasn't lag but he bunted literally every batter and stole 2nd/3rd base at least 7-9 times. It was so damn frustrating- but this guy wasnt cheating but it sure wasn't a legit baseball game.

Yea, he probably had Dee Gordon leading off. Jacoby Ellsbury batting second, Mike Trout 3rd, Miguel Cabrera 4th, etc.

yes similar. my line is pretty good ranked about 88 or so - but I'm only .500. I just don't bunt at every atbat nor do I steal every damn base. I played a game on-line where I obliviously mis threw the ball to the wrong base and the runner didn't advance and the next inning or so the gamer I was playing did the same thing and I returned the favor.
I just wish everyone would play like adults.
