You on xbox?

I got to masters as a zen main. The key when you get to the 3400 range is knowing when to switch to lucio/mercy. The players sub 3400 weren't good enough at genji/tracer to force me off zen, but the 3400+ players can be. They will see you run zen and go heavy dive. Then you just go lucio and have a teammate run reaper and GGs.

If I have to fill DPS I go trashrat and for tank I go road/winston. Roadhog is easy to fill with since you just have to stay alive and take pressure off your healers

Nah I’m on PS4. I need to get better with my tracking on Zen so I can start shutting Genji/Tracer when theyre in the back line. I mean I can, but not as often as I would like to.

Probably going to end somewhere between 3200-3300 depending on if I get another good climb in. Sitting at 3305 right now.

The mercy nerf hurt zen pretty bad at the higher levels. If it's a tracer/genji combo I swap immediately. If tracer/genji solo I wait to see how hard they focus me. Ana just isn't good on consoles so I'd get good at Lucio/mercy to fill when you have to swap from Zen. You'll notice the tracer/genji that focus you will end up not switching after you switch and your team adjusts and wins

I'll 1v1 tracers, but have stopped 1v1ing genjis. I just stay on the move and have my teammates help

new hero: Brigitte Lindholm
quote:

Brigitte specializes in armor. She can throw Repair Packs to heal teammates, or automatically heal nearby allies when she damages foes with her Flail. Her Flail is capable of a wide swing to strike multiple targets, or a Whip Shot that stuns an enemy at range. When entering the fray, Barrier Shield provides personal defense while she attacks enemies with Shield Bash. Brigitte’s ultimate ability, Rally, gives her a substantial short-term boost of speed and provides long-lasting armor to all her nearby allies.

quote:

Brigitte is a versatile support hero who specializes in providing armor to allies. Unlike other supports, she is a front-line unit who provides protection similar to tanks rather than staying on the backline. The large healing aura generated by Inspire makes her most useful when her team stays together. Despite her strength in close combat, she has little to no means of harming the enemy at range. If hacked, she has almost no means of helping her team at all.

Weapons & Abilities
INSPIRE [Passive Ability]: Brigitte will heal allies around her whenever she uses her Rocket Flail or Whip Shot to damage enemies. The health increases over time.

This ability is mostly the reason why Brigitte will be with her teammates.
Allies must be within range when Brigitte does damage for the healing to activate.
Healing has a slight, linear falloff the further she is from her ally
ROCKET FLAIL [Primary Fire]: Brigitte's melee weapon has an extended range, enabling her to strike multiple enemies with a single swing.

While damage is low for her Rocket Flail, it has a faster fire-rate than Reinhardt's Rocket Hammer, meaning she can still do quite a bit of damage.
Like Reinhardt, this replaces her quick melee.
For maximum damage and healing output, position yourself such that an enemy is standing within 3 meters and to the rightmost portion of your screen. Animation cancel the flail with the shield immediately after the flail makes contact.
REPAIR PACK [First Ability]: Brigitte throws a Repair Pack that can heal an ally. Any healing over that ally’s maximum health provides them with armor instead.

This has a medium cooldown, so it is best to use it on half to critical health allies, as if used wrong it could cause important allies to be eliminated
After 5 seconds, the added armor is automatically destroyed.
WHIP SHOT [Second Ability]: Brigitte throws her flail a long distance, dealing damage and knocking an enemy away from her.

The knockback from this ability can be useful in preventing overtime from starting.
This ability activates Inspire when it damages enemies.
Brigitte's speed is heavily decreased while whip shot is out
Mechanics:

Her Rocket Flail has a very long second half animation, you can easily cancel this into a Whip Shot to increase your DPS.
She is most vulnerable while using Whip Shot as it cannot be cancelled with her shield. The animation duration varies depending on the distance at which the Whip Shot makes contact (if at all).
BARRIER SHIELD [Secondary Fire]: Brigitte deploys a frontal energy barrier to absorb a limited amount of damage.

While the barrier has a good amount of health, it generates more slowly than Reinhardt's and is smaller in size. The shield is too small to cover a lot of people. Use it to protect yourself or a Mercy who is resurrecting a fallen ally.
SHIELD BASH [Alt - Secondary Fire]: Once her Barrier Shield is deployed, Brigitte can dash forward to stun an enemy.

This can be used to disrupt Ultimates such as McCree's Deadeye.
This can be, but is not recommended, used as a mobility tool as as last resort. The distance covered is relatively small.
Combined with whip shot, Brigitte can deal a large amount of damage to an enemy
Mechanics:

Brigitte can also use small obstacles as ramps - Bashing them and jumping just before contact will give the player Vertical Momentum, Whether this is a bug or a feature is not confirmed yet.
RALLY (Ultimate): Brigitte moves faster and provides all nearby allies with armor that lasts until it’s removed by damage.

Unlike her Repair Kit, the armor stays on allies only until it is destroyed.
Only Brigitte receives the speed boost.

I never realized how bad the smurfing is until reaching 3300. Just about every game has smurfs now.

Also noticing a lot of questionable aiming skills where it appears a kb/m is used.

Can we talk about how fricking annoying brigitte is to play against. A real no-fun-allowed type character.

Will be interesting to see how she warps the meta in Season 10. She was clearly a plant to keep Dive under control, which I think is a good thing, but yeah she may be too OP.

I do expect her to carry high ELO games when Season 10 goes live. The lower ranks, people are going to treat her like a healer which she clearly isn't.

Any TD'ers still play?

Finally reached my burnout point on League of Legends and looking to get back into this.

What's the current meta favor?
