Definitely enjoying the game a lot more now that they fixed some of the issues and I redownloaded the game.
Undefeated on 2k so far. May never lose.

Anybody know the difficulty setting for domination? I've played a few games and have absolutely boatraced the other teams. I've always had much more trouble in past years.

I have no idea. I haven't played MyTeam the last couple of years.

The grind is real in this years version my god. Used to make multiple characters based on what’s needed when running pro am with friends, not sure about doing that this year.
Kinda like how they turned MyGM into a story mode. And that pack and playoff mode in MyTeam is pretty fun.

Not sure, but I think the first few games are set to pro, middle of the pack teams are set to all star, and the top tier teams are set to superstar.
Haven’t played dom this year yet, so I’m not sure if it’s still setup where you play the worst team on up.

Did you buy VC to get to an 85?
I did and it's still going to be a hell of a grind. Wish I could pay someone to grind for me while I'm at work.

I maxed out all of my available stats and it came to be nearly 200,000 VC which amounts to $60.
Lol back to the grind I go.

I don't blame folks for taking the quick route to 85. Not my thing, but I hate 2k for making it pay to play. The 85 > 99 stretch is going to be a long long grind still. And from what I've watched on YouTube, once you are in the mid 70's, you can compete with the 85-90's if you know how to play and have a squad. You and I know that all to well with us wrecking a lot of Legends the past few years
With me getting married and going on a honeymoon. Basically most of November I'm not getting much playing time in, it might be this time next year til I get my guy to 95 again.
Update on my MyPlayer:
lvl 67
6' 7" SG Shot Creator Playmaker
Getting 20 minutes a game for the Pelicans.
Averaging 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Got my Ankle Breaker badge to bronze, it's my only one so far. Close on Lockdown Defender, Dimer, and MidRange Deadeye.
My guy is just waaay to slow to be much more effective on Offense. Can't blow past anyone and I get left behind on a fast break. lol. And my midrange and 3pt ranks aren't high enough to be consistent shooting outside jumpers to be effective. I have to bust my arse doing the little things to get a A/A- teammate grade. I'm about 10-12 games in.

I'm happy with the game, but it's 2k so I still feel like there are just a few simple fixes that could make it perfect.
Pro's:
Love the badge upgrade visibility
Like the open atomosphere of the neighborhood
Like the game play
Like that I can pick which badge I want to work on in practice
Like that practice isn't manadatory and that I can work on my badges in any game mode (Park, Career, Practice)
Con's:
Pay to play
Storyline
Load times
And I think the "Park" portion of the Neighborhood is going to be hard to get games in on because of how many people are in one neighborhood at a time.

I'm just happy that Park and Pro-am games are finally worth something.
I hate playing against the computer with a passion. MyCareer was never fun for me.
Also, being able to work on badges in the training facility is pretty awesome.

I started downloading the game yesterday at 6 PM and still haven't gotten to play it yet. I hate that it takes so damn long nowadays.

Yep.
Took overnight for me Sunday. And I'm sitting on a 350MB connection, but it was only downloading at 7/8MBs per second

I'll preface this with saying I'm new to the modern nba 2k games.
My biggest pet peeve in this game is the shooting. Why say my release is good if the "good" shots never go in, even on pro. I make more "slightly" shots than "good" shots.

Any updates to MyGM mode?
Posted on 9/20/17 at 5:16 pm to Goldrush25
Any word on how the Nintendo Switch version of this game turned out? I don't have any intention of getting it for PC or PS4, but wouldn't mind a sports title to take on the road with me if it's worth it.
