Yeah it's np. Not a deal breaker. Just the shtty graphical quality would really improve if HDR was avaible.

Well, the problem is you post so much that's you kind of have to question the origin. This IS a fair point, but it's tough to take your posts seriously. And just because you might ding Nintendo correctly here doesn't mean other things you post are "correct."
However, this is confusing because:
1) They specifically said they were done with Friend Codes, and you didn't need them for the WiiU
2) No other media person has found this until now, that's strange
3) When people say "Friend Codes" they generally mean the limitations of the old friend codes, which don't seem to be present here
4) Maybe we were all wrong because Nintendo does view this as a portable? I don't get the fits over friend codes. Yes they are tedious, and unnecessarily so, but eh, they don't affect the gameplay.
5) MAYBE the app makes this process WAY easier. Maybe that's JUST for the console. We don't have enough info yet to react. We do know the app is going to have a lot of social features, maybe easy Friend add is on there.
Edit: On Point #2, looks like this came in with the update. That explains no one finding it. Ugh, I hope this is not true.

they say it's pretty much like your ipad. you won't be turning it off, but just letting it sleep which you can do by pressing the home button on the controller a certain way
