Both the Taipei Assassins and Snipers were eliminated. Rookie team Gamania Bears have taken the one and only qualifying spot for the Garena region.
The Southeast Asia region also had an upset for their final spot. Team Mineski upset the Singapore Sentinels in the finals to grab the spot at Worlds. Looks like there are going to be a lot of new faces at Worlds this year.
GamingGear.EU got the spot from the Wildcard tournament consisting of the Oceanic, BR, Latin America, Russian, and Turkish regions.
I think I'm gonna update the OP with all the teams currently qualified for worlds.

With CJ Entus Frost's loss in the semis of OGN Hot6, it's now a lock that one of either Blaze or Frost (or possibly both) will miss Worlds. Absolutely crazy how many new teams will be at Worlds this year.

I've gotten over 20 kills the last 3 times I've gotten Zed in ranked. One of them was jungle Zed, too. I think I've found my way out of Silver 5.

Playoffs today! First matchup is the Challenger semifinals between Cognitive Gaming and NWE.
Looks like all of the Challenger teams that qualified for the tournament have already been taken off the leaderboard in-game. I was going to try to get some info on both of the teams, but they aren't on the leaderboard anymore.

I'm legit taking notes from the Challenger game. I want to see how two teams that don't play each other every week approach a game. It's as close to random matchmaking as you can get.
