One promo game from getting to Gold 4. It's taken me a while to even get to these promos. I played so scared for like the first 25 ranked games in Gold bc I kept thinking for some reason that the players would be so much better. It's been a lot easier once I realized that there is no noticeable jump in skill from S1 to G5.

ya the players in gold 5 really aren't much different than silver. You will see a difference when you get to around gold 2ish.

There's nothing Ashe does better than any other adc. I know people like her, and good players are going to be good regardless of who they play, but as a champion, she's trash.
ETA: Also picking her into an already picked Caitlyn is just full potato.

When I very first started playing League of Legends, I mained Ashe and Yi. I've discovered that most people I play against in ranked do not know how to stop a Jungle Yi from going crazy.

Yi jungle isn't hard to stop. Just don't let him get early gank kills and have hard cc. Played against a Yi jg last night. Our team picked thresh, xin zhao, ryze and maokai. Ez

I got bit by the Ezreal bug again. For some reason I'm the epitome of mediocre in every single game. Consistent, but mediocre. 4/4/9-14 every game. Do great in lane, but then can't get kills outside of laning phase. Which is fine I guess, I feel a little helpless in teamfights though. He's just underwhelming. But frick it he's fun to play.

Just bought Lucian with my IP last Friday. Played about 8 games with him, probably 3 yesterday with the new patch. Fun as hell to play.

Well of course not, that's just silly.
Ashe is certainly not top tier, but I just find her fun to play.
If (and that's a big if), you farm properly and don't die like an idiot, she can prove be a very formidable ADC late game. Her passive helps out a lot as well once you get your IE built, especially with a shiv. And her hawkshot is quite useful as well.
I know no one likes her, but for some reason, I love to play her.

It was mostly the player, there were 3-4 times I set up a lantern/hook combo for her to kill cait and she just sat there farming. Waaaay too passive. I hate supporting passive adc's. Especially when it's a free kill.

You'd probably hate supporting for me then.
I poke A LOT. But too many times, I've played with supports and they just go HAM like they are freaking Xspecial or something, and I try to be a good teammate and follow them in, and just get obliterated.
I no longer do that
I play passively, farm and wait for the enemy laners to frick up and get out of position. I don't force something that's not there.
