I like seeing the focus of D2 will be Cabal. They've been largely ignored since the original story and a small cameo in Taken King.
I like the idea of making the play spaces more dense because there's not much meaningful to do on patrols now.
I really hope they figure out a way to transfer characters...or something.

So I really like this raid. It's actually really fun, but my friends and I ran it tonight for the second time and we cleared it in an hour and 26 minutes.......Not sure how much shelf life it will have.

I've wondered the same but short and fun could have more life than long and frustrating like Kings fall.

Very true.
It's a very fast paced raid compared to the others whose battles were somewhat drawn out.
Coordination and communication is heavily relied upon. I know some people will say all the raids require this, but the final boss fight is a whole other monster.

Hopefully our team can finish the raid this week. Finally made it to 365 after a week. Never got a chance to do the farm but hopefully I can get a team to do it so I can level up the other characters.

Got to 353 last night. Do I need to get everything to 355 before I get 356+ drops? Or does the next tier start at 360?

According to Deejay from Bungie, every strike boss has a 50% chance to drop an item that's one LL higher than what you currently have equipped.
No clue on cryptarch stuff, but I'd assume it's somewhat similar.
Just be sure that if you're wearing gear that doesn't reach your max light (due to perks, looks or whatever) that you equip your highest LL gear before you pick up the blue engrams that bosses drop, otherwise it will go to the LL that you picked them up on.

No you don't need everything to be 355 to get 356+. I think ghosts and the artifacts are the hardest to find and right now I got a 361 artifact that's holding the light down. Sometimes you'll get like one light level up for gear, other times it can go up to 3-5, just depends. I just been doing strikes nonstop and leveling up factions. I would also hold some of the legendary engrams then cash them in later on.

This is true. After 365, ghosts and artifacts are extremely hard to come by. As of now, the only ways to get an artifact above 365 is RNG from Eris Morn packages after ranking up (Must be rank five with her before you receive a package) or from using a skeleton key on a strike and praying to RNG-esus. You can also get both from the Raid.
Ghosts are a bit different. Every time you rank up the Vanguard, Crucible or a faction, you have a chance to get a ghost in the packages. I got like four ghosts when I was in the mid-360's, but now I'm in the 370's and haven't gotten one in forever. I've been having to move my 373 ghost that I got from the raid around.

Legendary engrams also can only decrypt up to 365 Light. You're only guaranteed way to get higher drops is from rank up packages, exotic engrams, skeleton keys or random rewards in the crucible.

Probably my favorite LFG I've seen to date was KF NM like a week after it came out.
Group was looking one person, they posted requiring whatever the minimum light level was Kings Fall and asked for ToM, Spindle and a 790 FICO score

Yep just saw that. I didn't and still got to 365 for one character but I did it yesterday a couple of times to get some items for the other characters to rank up. Just doing the heroic strikes will do it for you and having your bounties while doing them to rank up factions.

You probably aren't going to get your wish. Read somewhere yesterday that just one area in D2 (Saturn, I think) is larger than all the play spaces in D1 combined.
