Ran Crota on normal last night in an attempt to get Black Hammer. Got Hawkmoon. Just got an invite from a random on my friends list for hard mode, so I jumped in. Got Gjallarhorn. Is this what heaven feels like?

Apparently it's possible that it drops, but it just has a really low drop rate along with the other special/heavy weapons. In all of my hard mode clears, I can't recall seeing anyone get anything other than a primary, helmet, or one of the other small rewards.

Gally, Atheon's Epilogue, and Suros in one VoG normal run. Hunger of Crota right after. Last week was the luckiest week of my life.

I feel so accomplished. I started today at Iron Banner rank 2 and reached rank 5, purchased the second emblem, the class item, the second shader (which looks fricking awesome on my titan), the scout rifle and the shotgun, and bagged the Iron Banner Rocket Launcher as an end game reward.
