Before I go down the internet rabbit hole for a technical explanation on why there is noticeable performance lost to my PS4's SSD; anyone here swapped the HDD with a SSD?

Questions:

1. How does the PS4 OS treat a SSD vs HDD?

2. Is the OS actively aware of the swape to flash vs platter?
Thus changing how the drive is maintenace d by not defragging and reallocatting dead cells, does it dump old cache and check for curropted cache data?

3. Does "Rest Mode" mode act as Windows Sleep or Hibernate? Sleep is fine since data stays on the RAM and not being wrote to the SSD everytime like Hibernation.

4. Any TRIM support from the OS?

I don't want to kill 512 GBs when I could use it elsewhere and just throw in a much cheaper SSHD hybrid.
