I think it only took me 2 attempts last night:
- First, missed outright
- Second, died upon impact and then revived.
I changed my subclass setting to give me the most agility and jump control and that's the only thing that helps my fat arse get across the great divide.

So I'm reading on the Destiny Reddit and there is a thread that about getting payback on the Cryptarch...it's comedy gold:

So I was doing some patrol on Earth and found a couple steange/cool things.
First, I found a chest with 10 spin metal, a helmet, and plans for a new ship. That's the most I've ever gotten in one chest.
Second, there's a cave in the field where the hive and fallen fight (pretty sure its the famed first loot cave.) I walk in and there's a pile of rubble and a prompt comes up with circle asking if I want to "Disturb the remains". So I do it and some creepy voice tells me "A million guests will not satisfy" and they said a name but I don't remember exactly what it was.
Creepy.

The name was for the official name of the cryptarch. They added that in a couple of weeks ago

This was in fact the original loot cave, they added the pile of bodies after they patched the cave. The exact quote I believe is "A million deaths are not enough for Master Rahool" Rahool is the name of the cryptarch

Why can't they do it between 7-10?! Don't they know that's when we won't be playing because of the Saints game?!
That does suck, though, because I'm sure I'll be wanting to play after the game, especially if they lose. I'm always anxious to shoot something after a loss.

It may not effect Destiny. I think it's because of the issues they have had since the update though.
