I feel like medic is better than assault unless a guy is right on your arse

2 things from the beta that I didn't care for in Conquest was they got rid of the conventional ticket system (not sure how it works now) and capturing points took forever. That still the same?

How exactly does the scoring work in Conquest now?

Scoring system was the same with the Beta, counted up to 1000. I wasn't a fan of that either. The points did seem like they were capturing quicker though, so 1/2 isn't bad.

I agree that the medic starting gun is better right now than the assault and support classes. Though, on some of the smaller maps, the assault class wrecks. Once you start unlocking more weapons though, they even out pretty well. Some of the higher support machine guns were dirty in the beta.

Just got the mondragon for my medic class last night. Easily the best gun I've used so far.

I'm really liking the new Operations game mode as well as Domination. Nice to be able to do control on small maps as well.

just watched a IW BETA video.

Things i noticed:
- everyone is a robot
- there was a robot dog with night vision running around killing people
- there is a blackhole gun
- every gun is highlighter yellow or some ridiculous camo
- in one map there's a lemonade stand, a train, and a barn. (what in the frick?)

all i can say is:

#CODKiller
#RIPCOD

Meanwhile, in BF1, I threw a bunch of mustard gas into a bunker and stood there watching people scramble for their lives.

I may have a problem

Is this game on sale in stores right now? I thought it didn't fully release until Friday.

I was noticing that too and discovered is a skin you unlock while leveling the gun.

It fully releases Friday, but there was an "early enlister" edition (+$20) that allowed early access on Tuesday.

I find most people don't stick with their squad and end up spread out all over the place. I suck, but I try to play the classes correctly - IE not running and gunning with support. Finding a squad that sticks together and not playing every game like it's TDM is refreshing.

Agreed. If I'm a scout, I'm getting a vantage point and calling out targets left and right. The game is really fun rolling by yourself, but if you get a squad that communicates and runs together, you can have an amazing time.

Any of you going to try the campaign? I'm reading they finally got it right. The opening sequence is on point.

I've finished the opening sequence and the first chapter. The first chapter is very instructive, so it throws a new mechanic at you one by one, but overall I have enjoyed it. They finally learned how to use their cinematography to really enhance their campaign. The sounds, scenery, and atmosphere have all been top notch. The word is just brutal. That opening sequence was jaw dropping.

Haven't gotten into any meaty missions yet, so we'll see how those go.
