I expect ac to get rated higher but skyrim to have more content and higher replayability.

I wouldn't be surprised if Batman got higher reviews than Skyrim because Bethesda games usually have bugs that get there scores lowered.
When it comes to GOTY awards though, Batman won't touch Skyrim.

Only thing I can see happening is that AC will appeal to a bigger crowd. Elder Scrolls, as great a franchise as it's been, has almost a niche market. Mass appeal, unfortunately, rules these type of things.
I'm still putting my money on Skyrim.

isn't skyrim going after a larger crowd this time...and while batman appeals to a larger crowd, I don't think they went out of their (rocksteady) way to appeal to as many people as possible...
